  • Approved New Zealand Surveyor of ships
  • Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors
  • Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology

Experience

1) 7 years Involved in the repair and maintenance of a wide range of earthmoving, road construction equipment and road trucks
2) 1 years Involved in the maintenance, inspection and monitoring of Integral Refrigerated Containers, both ashore and on board ships
3) 9 years At sea as a Ship's Engineer on container ships, bulk carriers, and offshore support vessels.

This experience included the repair and maintenance of:

  1. Main propulsion machinery
  2. Main generator sets
  3. Electro Hydraulic cranes
  4. Integral Refrigerated Containers
  5. Bulk Cargo pumping systems handling fluid and dry powder products such as cement
4) Involved in Marine and Heavy Equipment Insurance Claims since 1995. Surveying to Maritime New Zealand Standards.
